Review:April 04 Dirt Bike: Our thanks on to Paul and Mr Slim - we had an amazing four days in Cambodia and the guys made it a really memorable experience. Needless to say there have been numerous drinking sessions with stories being told of our adventure!! (Those trails are getting more and more rugged each time they are discussed!!). And thank you for your hospitality when we returned to Siem Reap - very nice of you to cook up a storm for us

Review:Dirt bike Trip in April 2003.
Mudness!

Is that a new word for you? Then you probably haven’t been to Cambodia yet! Not the one most tourists visit! The secret one! The one only Paul & Sheila of “Hidden Cambodia” can reveal to you, the one that because of the mud, only dirt bikes can reach! For me it has been one of the best experiences of my life. A real trip back and forth into time…

Even before I got to Cambodia my instinct told me that this bike trip would be the highlight of my vacations. Paul and Sheila were very friendly and helpful and tried really hard to help with all things concerning my trip to Cambodia (Visa-Guest house-taxi-what to bring along and other info). I felt like going to see old friends. And when I got there and met them then I was sure that this experience would bereally worth its money. Paul is a great guy. ( I will tell you more about him because he is the guide for the tours, so I spent all the days with him). He is always happy as a child and so enthusiastic about his job and life that you can’t help being carried away. He is also a very good and honest man. His English is great (very important!!!!!) and he has a great sense of humour. I was alone on that trip (no friends or girlfriend) but I never felt alone. The most important thing though, is that he takes very good care of his guest so you feel very safe even when riding through remote areas. He knows all the roads and can take you places known only to few. He is the best guide I ever had ( I have had a lot all over the world) and one of the best persons I ever met!

As for the tour, words are too poor to describe the feelings, the beauty of the scenery, the moments. I prefer to let the pictures I took, do the talking!

I hope these lines will get you to do the trip! I really hope so! If you are mad for dirt bikes and love to ride you won’t regret it and you wouldn’t change it for the world when it is over! (I booked a 4-day trip but ended up doing an 8-day trip).

Ready for the next mad-mud trip…
Kostas Georgizas.

P.S.
It’s a shame that Cambodia is so far from Greece.
